The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot including angels, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his debts and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the group access places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to Timmony in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Fans can expect discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
